Bookkeeping I plus QuickBooks® Our Beginning Bookkeeping plus QuickBooks® is a five week course focusing on how books are kept according to GAAP rules. The student will learn terms and definitions specific to the accounting field. An entire set of books will be completed, from creation of the Chart of Accounts through Year-End Close. Books are kept manually so the student will understand the complete workings of bookkeeping before adapting that knowledge to QuickBooks.
Our QuickBooks® class will provide not only data entry practice but also the “whys” and “hows” of getting business information into a software package. The class will provide the basis for all software inputting and logic. No pre-requisite required for either course. Bookkeeping II - Certification Program Gateway to Learning is proud to offer the AIPB Certification Program. This is an eight week course that represents a nationally certified bookkeeping program, not merely local or regional. This Certification Program is currently being offered at major US colleges and universities, including San Diego State, etc.
We understand there are many certification programs that claim to be “national programs”; however, the AIPB Certification Program is the only certification employers nationwide are recognizing and endorsing. The testing process is completed at a Prometrics facility and results are sent directly to the AIPB. All fees are included in the cost of the course.
